Sison-Gimelo Dental Center reached another milestone with the opening of the SG Dental Diagnostics on November 18, 2022. SG Dental Diagnostics aims to provide accurate diagnostics to dental patients and serve the needs of dental clinics for various types of dental x-rays and other diagnostics services.
At the center of the SG Dental Diagnostics is the newly acquired equipment, the Cone Beam Computer Topography (CBCT). According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, CBCT is type of dental equipment that rotates around the patient, capturing data using a cone-shaped X-ray beam. The data are used to reconstruct a three-dimensional (3D) image of the following regions of the patient’s anatomy: dental (teeth); oral and maxillofacial region (mouth, jaw, and neck); and ears, nose, and throat (ENT).
The opening ceremony was led by the team of the Sison-Gimelo Dental Center headed by Engr. Alvin Gimelo (CEO) and Dr. Marilu Sison-Gimelo (head of the dental team), Sison-Gimelo Medical and Sison-Gimelo Packaging.
SGDC also welcomed the special guests who joined this celebration – Mr. Angelo Diego Castro III and Ms. Angela Lagunzad, news anchors for One Balita aired on One Ph /Cignal TV and their son, Mio Castro, and other friends and clients of the Sison-Gimelo Dental Center.
Aside from CBCT, SG Dental Diagnostics provides Panoramic & Cephalometric X-Ray, Syringe Micro Vibrator, Periapical X-Ray, Carpal X-Ray.
